Poverty is defined as a situation in which an individual or group of individuals lacks or has insufficient resources to meet their basic needs. The aim of this paper is to study poverty in the commune of Agadir, using a multidimensional approach. The results of the study reveal that Agadir's neighborhoods can be subdivided into five classes, each distinguished in terms of degree of vulnerability. The study confirms that there is a disparity in terms of income, standard of living, housing, education, safety, cleanliness and access to health and transport services in the commune of Agadir.
